The Jeff Daugherty Memorial Scholarship recognizes members of RBC who have completed high school, are seeking to further their education, and have demonstrated outstanding Christian service within school, church, and community. The scholarship endowment was established by the Daugherty Family in memory of their son Jeff to honor his love of learning.

Eligibility

To be considered for ths scholarship, applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:

• Be an active member of Reynoldsburg Baptist Church for at least one year at the time of application (the Scholarship Committee may grant exceptions on a case-by-case basis),
• Be accepted into a program culminating in a degree (associate, technical, bachelor’s, or higher) or certification, and
• Have a minimum 2.5 GPA (on a 4.0 scale) on their most recent transcript.

In all cases, the Scholarship Committee will determine if applicants meet these eligibility requirements.

Application Process

To begin the application process, those interested in applying will need to contact a member of the scholarship committee. Please contact the church office if you need contact information for current committee members. The committee member contacted will then provide application materials and submission deadlines. The window for requesting information has closed for this season. Please check back in April 2026 for details about the spring application season.

After applicants submits their application, the committee will review applications and may be invited to an interview with the committee.
