The Children’s Ministry strives to make each child feel loved and accepted as they grow in their knowledge of the grace of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We seek to offer an environment that ultimately leads children to Christ and supplements the leadership parents provide for the spiritual development of their children. All adult workers complete a background check prior to working with children.

Sunday School – Sunday, 9:00 AM

We have three Sunday School classes for elementary-aged children: a 1st & 2nd grade class, a 3rd & 4th grade class, and a 5th & 6th grade class. Each class includes a Bible lesson and activities that engage children in learning the truth of God’s Word. Our Children’s Sunday School classes use the Children’s Desiring God Sunday School materials.  Our Children’s Sunday School classes also play an active role in preparing Operation Christmas Child shoe boxes each fall.  All three classes meet on the second floor of the education building.

Children’s Church – Sundays during worship

This opportunity is provided for children ages 4 through the 4th grade. Age-appropriate worship and Bible-focused activities are offered for children whose parents wish for them to attend.  Children who participate in Children’s Church attend the first half of the worship service in the Sanctuary and are dismissed from there to Children’s Church.  Children’s Church meets on the second floor of the education building.

Children’s Bible Drill – Sunday, 5:30 PM

This program is designed to help kids in 4th through 6th grade become familiar with the Bible and memorize a number of important Scripture verses. Participants practice quickly locating books of the Bible and key passages, and take part in an annual competition to demonstrate the skills they have learned.  We also offer Youth Bible Drill for older students. Bible Drill meets October through April on the second floor of the education building.

GAs meets on the second floor of the education building.

R.A.s (Royal Ambassadors) – Sunday, 6:30 PM (Jan-Mar, July-Aug)

This mission group is aimed at teaching boys grades 1-6 about missionaries throughout the world and what we can do locally to support a global effort to carry the message of Christ around the world. RAs meets on the second floor of the education building.

Music Makers – Sunday, 6:30 PM (Apr-June, Sept-Nov)
